

Karen deals with creating lasting powers of attorney and managing clients’ finances under powers of attorney or as a Deputy/Receiver under the Court of Protection work. If a client is unable to make a will, Karen can apply on their behalf to the Court of Protection for a statutory will.
Karen deals with family trusts in which clients provide for their home to be used according to their directions for the benefit of their family as a whole.
Karen also deals with property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, deeds of gift and lifetime mortgages (equity release schemes).
Karen also advises our clients on payment of care fees and elderly abuse.
